Basket Patch was created over 23 years ago when Linda Searcy learned how to make several baskets. Family members joined her over the years to create these beautiful hand woven and finished practical baskets of many varied antique looking designs.
Daughters, Shea and Mandy, earned spending money after school and together with Linda expanded the many designs. These were offered in local craft shows and fairs where people learned of this work of art by Linda and her four children. Baskets are taken to the barn for a three day process of painting and antiquing and then shipped throughout the country.
Basket Patch has also expanded to other products such as hand painting and antiquing pottery and grass bee skeps, snowmen and pumpkins.
