Pat Castka has enjoyed creating and sewing since childhood. She continues to create historically inspired Old Friends from old toys and story-book ideas as she combines business and pleasure.

Dolls and animals are meticulously created from paper mache, vintage and aged materials, old trim and buttons and then hand painted one-by-one. Pat's creativity and techniques have led to her being a juried member of the "Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen" and Best Craftsman by "Early American Life". Her exceptional dolls and animals for all seasons are based on 19th and early 20th century ideas and can be found in magazines, museums and many homes around the country. The dolls are free standing.
