Mary and Steve established The Owls Nest of N.C. in 1971. Their decorative tin art is made of recycled roofing tin which began it's life protecting a house or old barn. These home and garden accent pieces begin as a creative design, the pattern traced on the tin which is then hand-cut and parts assembled for painting. The primary color exterior paint is applied and ready for Mary to hand paint and detail with her creative touch. Natural aging displays spot rusting and slight variations, making a pleasing antique patina. These great designs of continually changing decorative home accents include wreaths, trees, flower boxes, wall and door hangings as well as great yard pieces for all holidays and seasons.

Some larger pieces are more difficult to ship and sometimes require "oversize" packaging.....therefore costing more to ship.
