Ralph Giguere has been making holiday lanterns and candy containers since 1996. His inspiration comes from researching antique pieces and his natural ability is enhanced by his background as a free-lance illustrator. He is also an adjunct professor at a nearby University. Ralph has been part of the Christmas "Early American Life" Directory of the Top 30 Holiday Artisans.

Ralph creates his great pieces by first making a rubber mold from a hand sculpted master and then casts each piece from plaster / paper / composition. He then stains the inside, paints and ages the outside and finally signs and dates each piece.
